The staff was very, very friendly and attentive, spoke French, German and English fluently and is also very patient and stays excited with foreign customers trying to order in French. The cheese variation there had an amazing price-value ratio and the staff was having an eye on us running out of bread and brought some more for free. The Alsatian dishes, which make up the majority of the menue, had some very deep, authentic flavour to them. Rustic, very central location is amazing. Highly recommended!

Great place! If you are looking for genuine alsatian dishes in a genuine alsatian atmosphere, Muenstersteuwel is the right choice. Flammekuchen, cordon blue, black forest cake: from the appetizer to the dessert, everything will please you.
