One of the hidden pearls of Paris. Simply great. A very generous and selected choice of wines, meats and cheese. This is France.

LOCATION: We made our way to the quiet island of Ile Saint Louis. We had to go to the famous Berthillon ice cream shop with all the talk of this place. There is a sit down café and a separate carry out counter. We did the latter.
FOOD:
1. Rhubarb - more like sorbet with just a hint of tart. Just ok. Should have gotten something more cream based.
2. Cinnamon - yummy! Very creamy.
3. Walnut brownie - soooo creamy and good. Very rich and heavy. GOOD!
PRICES: Small scoop for E2.50.
CONCLUSION: It is good yes but not sure what all the craze is about. I liked the brownie better than the ice cream! Maybe I need to try more flavors!

Very good service and food. Owner is very helpful and speaks good English. Cheeses were amazing and so was the wine!
Very reasonable prices for Paris.
I would definitely recommend.

My partner and I highly recommend La Vigne Saint Laurent. The food was phenomenal including starter, main, and desert along with the wine; it's clearly evident with the amount of locals eating there. Eventhough we always try our best to speak French (which we are not too good at) the owner/ operator was charming and polite - clearly explaining everything in English. If you want a good quality wining and dining French experience, you can't go wrong here.

Tiny french restaurant close to Gare de l'Est. Very friendly owner, speaks English well. Daily menu selection, nice cheeses and wines by the glass (follow owners recommendations). Most patrons seemed local.
