Gorgeous meal tonight, great and attentive service, our waiter was lovely, and very funny! Mousse ENORMOUS, barely finished half between two chocolate lovers!! Highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you for a lovely last night in this very special city.

Very much enjoyed our meal. Neighborhood type restaurant a mixture of locals and tourist. I had the duck breast, it was excellent. Lynn had the white fish (sorry...forget which one) she also very much enjoyed her meal. Had a carafe of Cote Du Rone(sp?) wine which was fine and a reasonable price. Struck up a conversation with the people on each side of our table. A couple from Amsterdam and a young travel from the U.S. who had been traveling Europe and Asia for the last 3 months. Very enjoyable atmosphere. I very much recommend this place if you want something where you can have a conversation ad the food is good.

We cannot pass through Paris without stopping at Chez Janou. The menu of this authentic and unspoiled bistro is constantly evolving. From the exquisitely delicate to the rich and hearty, the menu has something to satisfy all appetites. As one would expect, the wine menu offers a variety of vintages to compliment any choice. We recommend the chocolate mousse for desert. Try early dining to avoid what can be a considerable wait.

We had been recommended this place. We got there early so we explored the area and found this wonderful park to chill out at nearby. Our waiter was awesome. He was friendly and translated the menu for us! No English on the menu but that was ok. The food was really good. I had risotto with scallops. The sauce they used was divine. And the rice used was a mix between a rice and grain so very unique. It gets crowded fast! Very popular. If you are with a big group get the chocolate mousse for dessert! It's to die for and you get as much as you want! We were handed a bowl of what seemed gallons of it and ate like three serving each! A must in Paris.
