I am currently a demonstrator and I was a graduate from Computer Engineering, Pharos University in Alexandria. This review belongs only to me and is not in the university's name nor is it in any way its responsibility nor am I an official representative.
The university has its advantages and disadvantages as does any place in the world. Administration cannot be lax when it comes to rules, that is both good and bad depending on people's perspectives. As for education, which is the top priority of course, there are serious steps taken for internationalization and international agreements.
Talking about the faculty of Engineering: Eight of our programs are validated and have undergone a quality assessment scrutiny by KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden. KTH is a highly ranked university that is continuously supervising our programs. Our lecturers come from Egyptian public universities like Alexandria University, Mansoura University etc. In short, the course contents and quality assurance is matched with highly ranked universities, our staff comes from known and accredited universities, our bachelors degree is accredited from the Ministry Of Higher Education and we have a double accreditation program with KTH.
We have student activities, sports, theatre, social events, scientific events, artistic events...though personally, I prefer the scientific events.
We have serious student advisory and office hours, so students do not need external help; as part of the teaching staff, we are obliged to conduct such activities.
Our graduates have found jobs with various companies, institutions, startups and some even are having their own startups/companies.
Our graduates are finishing their Masters and PhDs in other universities.
I just felt the need to vent the above because I love my university and hope for it to thrive; I would never lie and say it's flawless, but come see for yourself and let's all work on making it flawless.

This University Especially In Faculty Of Engineering Is Doing Whatever They Can To Make You Fail And Pay More Money To Them, They Even Close Many Courses In Summer So That We Stay Studying Forever.
I Regret That I Registered And My Advice To Every One Who Wants To Try His Luck Here is To Stay Away From It.

It offers a good scientific content but bad administration.
