When picking up the car in Copenhagen I did not realize it that had a small scone on the driver's side door because it was parked too close to another car and a light scratch on the back because the area was a little grungy.
The Hertz staff in Copenhagen gave me the car without reporting the mentioned damages in the related special document.
The next day I realized the issue but I saw it late and I was already far away in another city; I believed that the only chance I had was to hope that the matter had no effect when leaving the car in Billund because I thought is was already my word against the staff in Copenhagen, with no chance to prove anything.
Finally I had to pay eur 600 for a damage done by someone else. Next time I will go to a cheap company and pay the total insurance.

Hertz Denmark has been the perfect place to rent a car in numerous occasions. I have gotten upgraded here 2 times already and I always get a clean car exactly as I want it. My colleague has been using Hertz before me for 2 years and has done over 20 rentals here. He never got bad service and if there was any misunderstanding, it was rectified - always.
I would recommend Hertz Denmark. Specifically the office in Vesterport. They have great service minded staff.
