Across the street from the Cathedral, where Gabriel Garcia Marquez came fleeing Bogota. He tried to sleep in the stone benches and got arrested for breaking the curfew of the times. He was taken and put in jail but the police officer first took him to dinner because GGM was hungry. Of course he did. This is cartagena, a land where such things happen.
