Found almost everything including Indian spices. The shops inside sell every kind of sea food (raw material). They flank a huge sea-food restaurant. Shops on the periphery have spices, dry fruits, cheeses, breads, meats & other groceries. Centrally located too!

It was a great experience. As it is the best place to buy sea food here in Santiago, it has the best restaurants provided with fresh food every morning.

Huge place to find all kinds of fish, crabs and seafood in general. Seafood is not my thing but you have to see this place to experience the fresh catch they have.

Even though this place is actually the Santiago Fish Market whose architecture is a proof of a magnificent past, even though the above, it's just a good spot to buy fresh fish and shellfish. The restaurants are low quality premises and one of those ones "Donde Augusto" is the worst place to go for a meal. The food is not fresh at all, some of the products are frozen and usually many of the customers of this restaurant have stomach problems after eating there.

The most interesting/unique part is seeing all the different fish and seafood. It's kinda gross and there are cats slurping up the fish guts on the floor, but I'm still glad we visited. I would have been curious otherwise. The restaurants are super pushy about eating at their spot, but I would advise you take your time and check out the whole building. There are also bathrooms, but you have to pay (300 pesos)!
