Soup is still the same. New owners found a way to alienate me my first trip. Pro-tip: if it is your debit machine that isn't working, after advertising that it is, don't be surprised if someone needs to run to the atm. Also don't imply they are thieves if they pick up their backpack when they go to find one.

Great solid Asian soups and more... But HONS is now closed. Although it is transitioning to a Korean BBQ House, I am told they will still carry the HONS menu, and all the staff is the same. Good news!!

Have been going there for over twenty years. Some good meals and some not so good. Cooks change. Prices are reasonable. Selection is good. We had a large bowl of hot and sour. On a cold day tasted good. Not a destination for stuffed shirts wanting up scale Chinese food at discount prices. But worth a try best in China Town.

NEW OWNERS: NOW called Jang Mo Jib, Korean House. Had the shredded chicken hot and sour soup, full bodied and delicious. Stir fry rice noodle with beef, exceptional beef plentiful and tender. Fried rice Y.C. style complete with Chinese tea. Total price $27.26 incl. G.S. T. Interior redone. Worth a visit, could be a winner.

This felt like the only chinese restaurant left in the area. Service is a bit abrupt -- not too helpful on menu choices. However, the place has customers and our food was tasty and economical.

I took my daughter and her out-of-town friend here for dinner after a day of sight-seeing. I consider Hon's an institution, and like their frozen dumplings.The staff were pleasant and tried to be helpful. But we were very disappointed with the food: there weren't many vegetables, the sauces were heavy and salty. The vegetarian dumplings were good...but I've decided not to return here again. Too bad.
