Hard to find parking. Fried chicken is the best dish and it's $5 off on Tuesdays! Don't forget to get the happy hour oysters - too die for!

This has been here for years. Somehow, I always postponed coming in. I know a foodie friend of mine
always come here for their Happy Hours offer. The oysters, fresh. Came cold iced, shave wasabi etc.
My fried chicken huge and feeling and
delicious. The servers are all very friendly and accommodating. It makes
a lot different. Will definitely come back.

Chewies is an awesome spot.
The all male servers are friendly, courteous and give off a very nice energy.
The food at chewies from brunch to dinner is excellent. Great place to stop for a cocktail or dinner.
Definitely recommend it

Came in on a busy Saturday and we had a great time. The food was amazing, 2 of us had the fried green tomato po'boy, 1 plate of jambalaya and 1 fish and grits. Everything was great. All the food was recommended by our waiter Tim who was a hilarious, nice guy. I highly Recommend the restaurant for everything, drinks, food and good company.

Good food and good service May 2017

Good food, the oysters were as fresh as could be possible. Service was excellent, and the server had a great understanding of the menu, and how some of their dishes were different from the typical presentation.

Our server really didn't care about us. The place was busy, but he was more interested in socializing with one of the women sitting at the bar than remembering to bring our order. He didn't tell us about the happy hour price for oysters (it started 20 minutes after we arrived). He also sold us a bottle of wine that was available to $20 less at happy hour. The only good service we had was when we paid the bill. The server seemed quite happy that we were leaving.
The food was good, but not worth putting up with the service.
We noticed that the tables on either side of us also seemed to be getting poor service.
