The small atmosphere and vibes of the people are cool. The bartenders suck though. Not sure why they seem so angry about serving customers

Went at opening on Saturday and had a cocktail at the bar. A neat speakeasy type of place with a hidden entryway off the side of the building. If going for the first time remember the address or it will be difficult to find. Great happy hour drink specials make getting there early worthwhile. Had a nice discounted and tacos. Food portions were small but were good for bar type food. A must stop experience for a cocktail. Recommended.

Mysterious and cozy place. It can get packed and hot inside but cool vibe and friendly staff. Food is good too! And I like how the entrance is very discreet.

Surprising and exciting. Dark and mysterious. The pulled pork sandwich
was excellent. Brioche perfect.
The potato wedge could feed two and also very good. Next time I want to try other dishes. Will definitely come back.

Yesterday afternoon I had the worst service experience I've ever had at any establishment. I arrived looking to sit on the patio and asked if there was any availability. I was informed that staff were too busy to come get me if a table opened up, so I should sit inside at the bar and watch the camera footage of the patio to wait for an open spot and then come get it. That's fine. I sat at the bar watching the screen (not ideal, but ok) and when a table opened up I got up to go get it, when the woman who was serving at the bar interjected and told me to stay. She spoke to me in the most rude, shockingly condescending tone. She told me to "hold tight sweetie, I can see you're really concerned and this is a really big deal to you, we will come let you know when a table opens up." I was told to sit and keep watching the screen... as another person who clearly just arrived grabbed the open spot? I love supporting independent bars and restaurants in Vancouver but the real appeal of those places are the awesome and friendly staff... which this place doesn't have. Will never go back.
