Great location, good for some eats before an event downtown but make sure you have reservations as they can be pretty busy at times. Service is wonderful but ensure there are no large group reservations if you'd like to have a semi-quiet meal.

low grade food sold at high grade prices, i think there is microwaving going on as well, and service very slow

Steak I had there tasted like it was very recently frozen.
The drinks are also lacking considering the price point

Their menu selection focuses on hearty European-American cuisine, and is reasonably priced. I was there for lunch on several occasions, and dinner once during Taste of Yaletown. It's a great neighborhood restaurant with finesse.
