The Black Cat always has something interesting going on, and is very accessible to the public. the space itself is small and intimate, and feels very welcoming.
There are many photography, painting, mixed media shows, etc. from local and international artists. one of my favourite exhibits is the now annual "salon of inclusiveness" where you yourself can contribute an art piece or two to a wall-to-wall exhibit!
The owner, Andrew, is warm and brilliant, and welcomes new ideas for creative, locally run vernissages and projects.
