Very large canoe. Nice city park, had a dog run, places to sit, and a good amount of space. Very quiet, despite being in city.

Soccer field is usually available before 6 so reach there and Mark you territory. Good place for pickup too. Plus the normal kiddie area.

Real big park. Great for ball with buds, or catch with your dog. Kids can run, And teens can mope. Good place for insta pics.

Gotta love these Douglas Coupland public art installations around the city. Tom Thompson's Canoe is pretty special. The beautiful dichotomy of the Canadian identity: a giant canoe on the edge of an expressway ready to launch it's way under the Gardiner, through traffic, beyond the urban landscape, to explore the shores of Lake Ontario. When your ready to leave City Place behind, and explore the dense wilderness of Canada (like Tom Thomson), there it is just beyond the concrete.
