Sadly this place is soon to be torn down to make for more damn Condos... they served good food and a good variety of beers. Loved the patio in the summer. Sad to see it go :(

Gross Nachos - I decided to visit this cafe since the location is in a cozy corner and the patio is actually nice. But the food was horrible! I ordered $20 "special" nachos and when it came out (wish I would have taken a picture) it was the ugliest presentation I have ever seen. It was nachos laid out on a tray with what looked like cheese whiz on one corner sour cream on the other salsa. The taste was so bland and I just felt grossed out for the next couple of days. The thing that made me more annoyed was the rude waitress it was like she was rushing us to pick something and she had a major attitude. Never again!

Really enjoyed my experience! The atmosphere is relaxed and the interior design is very interesting. The server was knowledgeable about the different beers we wanted to try and passionate about the menu. All the food was great!

The Victory Cafe is one of my favourite downtown spots. I've been to many poetry events upstairs over the years. Lots of poets have congregated afterwards from all over Markham Village to socialize downstairs. It's a great place. And the new chef has brought 'bar food' to whole new levels. The food is excellent! I will dearly miss The Victory Cafe when it closes down at the end of 2016 when Markham Village goes under construction.

Great outdoor patio, good beer and a relaxed atmosphere. Service can be hit and miss depending on how busy the place is and how hipster your server believes himself to be.
Definitely order the grilled cheese. They have this sauce that comes with it that is delicious. They also really know how to make a good french fry.
