I called to see if I could get a permit or something for a car I had bought on Saturday ,
I was speaking to the owner of smiths insurance Dan, now I get a lot places are closed and they are busy, he kept putting me on hold, I was okay with that I know there are lots of people that need help and what not to, so I was waiting on hold, he picks up the phone and says " you need to call your broker that you deal with.." then I tried to ask how come? and he continued to say " I cant deal with this I have things better things to do then deal with you.." and hung up the phone not once was I rude or in anyway aggressive to him I was just seeking out help on how to go about plating a car, and he came back to tell me that he has better things to do with his day then deal with a customer?????? How do you own a company and run it like that... I will never again call them or recommend them to anybody.. yes you might be stressed out from your busy day but you do not deal with a customer like that, I deal with people all day and if I need to take a breath I do so maybe instead of freaking out on your costumer you should sell your business if you cant handle it & or are not fit to be running it. very poor customer service and support.. very disappointed in Smiths Insurance.

I've been getting my home insurance through this broker for a few years.
The hours are great and convenient.
There are always lots of staff working so the wait is short.
The staff are courteous and professional.
If you explain your needs and concerns to them, they will do whatever they can to find a policy that meets your requirements.
I don't even live in Regina any more but still renew my policies through Smith Insurance.

Been dealing with Smith's Insurance for well over 12 years and have nothing but great things to say. They handle all of my insurance and have always been top notch and extremely helpful in not only deciding requirements, but making sure everything that can be covered, is covered and with appropriate coverage. I live no where near them any more and still keep them as my broker!!
