It is nice park besides the Ottawa River, very fantastic view to take pictures and good for picnic.

It's a little hidden away and therefore not usually overcrowded. Mostly shaded with great views of the Ottawa River and Quebec. A great place for a picnic!

Beautiful and quiet place with a stellar view of the Ottawa River at the point where the Gatineau River merges in. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that there were cast iron chairs and a table. We ate our lunch there and greatly enjoyed the experience!

Beautiful place to see a sunset. A great place for a picnic. I've also attended a few wedding held there as well.

This was the beautiful location for your May wedding. What the pictures online don't show is that a lot of wind can funnel in from over the Ottawa river, which can be chilly in the shade or cause problems with decorations and the like. Also we didn't have access to any electricity, which might have been nice. But the location is clean and lovely, and most park visitors are respectful of your special day. Definitely a memorable location for such a memorable occasion!
