A gem of greenspace. Sure the old oak tree is no more, having been cut down because it was hollowed out through age. And the park is not filled with thousands of beach goers anymore, but do this on a summer's day. Sit quietly on a bench, watch a paddleboarder, kayaker or canoeist go by and listen to the sound of frogs and cattails rustling in the wind.
