Waiting for almost 2 hours in emergency with a 20 month old at 730pm at night and no special attention or rush treatment for open womb. Good thing we pay so much $$ for health care. Not to mention it is old and disgusting!

I had an operation September 1st on the 8th floor room 813. I would like to thank my doctor and staff the nurses were very kind and thoughtful. They treated me with respect I appreciated the service.

My mother spent 1 month at hopital Fleury. Best thing I can say about this hospital is that she went home. She had a serious blockage in her small intestine and required scans to determine how to proceed. None of the treatments that she needed took place there. She was shipped down to Hopital St-Luc for all procedures and consultation with a surgeon. Fantastic service at St-Luc. Wonderful surgeon Dr. Franck Vandenbroecke who answered all our questions and took the time to help us. As for Fleury , some good people on staff, but in general service was mediocre and communication non existent. If you have a condition that is in any way complex , don`t go there. Health care system needs a huge kick in the butt. Spend less time filling out charts and forms and more time CARING FOR PATIENTS !!!!!! They are there for you to help. The rest is secondary. Fire the bureaucrats!

Impatient and very unkind. Went for my grandfather and they kept repeating how old he was like they basically tried to tell us that he was old and if he died it was good riddance. They really didn't have time for him because of his age. Go to st-Mary's. They're more humane

My brother had liver problems, his doctor advised him to undergo some medical exams at Fleury hospital. The doctor who performed the exam accidentally ruptured some internal organs, my brother died from an internal hemorrhage.
I called for an appointment with a eye ophthalmologist clinic in Montreal, I was instructed to go to the nearest hospital emergency to obtain a doctors referral. I explained my eye condition to a nurse in triage at Fleury hospital, she told me all the doctor can do is refer me to a clinic... well I knew that. Now this exam would have taken less than five minutes because Fleury does not have ophthalmology services. I waited 10 hours before I realized they were not going to pass me to a doctor, so I returned home. This hospital does not commit to it"s mission statement.
Although some patients have had good service from Fleury hospital, the majority of patients including myself fail to see the professionalism and
well being of patients.
I have been to Fleury hospital four (4) times in the past year, I have always waited 12 hours minimum in the emergency.
