My friends and I visited Montréal and wanted to have dinner somewhere nice to end the day. We stumbled upon this nice French bistro (after doing research online).
To start, Le Petit Bistro's waiters are extremely polite, attentive and very professional. They explained the 3 course offer they had and answered all of our questions. The meals they recommended were also on point.
I had the Calamari for appetizers, Braised Lamb Shank for main and Créme Brulée for dessert. The lamb shank was very tender and fell off the bone easily. The flavour of the meat and the sauce was divine. The waiter also informed us that the Créme Brulée was not traditional, they had caramel in them. Créme Brulée is one of my favourite dessert so I was excited to try this one, and it did not disappoint.
The venue was very cozy and delightful.
Overall, this is a restaurant that I will recommend for anyone visiting or in Montréal.

Both food and service are fabulous!
Ordered beaf tartar, the side salad is amazing, fresh veggies with their special dressing( it’s like balsamic but the creamy touch on the bottom adds a perfect ending), it’s just so yummy. Beef is very good and doesn’t have any raw smell, and it doesn’t taste heavy and overly creamy.
Both food and service are fabulous!

Perfect little neighbourhood bistro. French classics served on a great roof terrasse. Nice selection of private import wines combined to a more affordable list for the evening special. Prices are more than decent for the food quality. You've got to try the octopus :)
