Service was very friendly and attentive. Great selection of $12 cocktails. Calamari was perfectly tender and crisp. Nice balance with the greens they were served with. We shared two pasta dishes, and preferred the wild mushroom gnocchi over the white bean-filled ravioli, which was a little too doughy in my opinion. Overall it was a good meal but not sure it was worth $30 for each plate of pasta.

This an amazing local restaurant. We had great food (more comfort food I will say), the kitchen staff were amazing. we sat at the bar and were watching them cooking and all I saw were people passionate about their job and working hard at preparing amazing meals.

Great service. I was visiting the city and I went to Le Chien Fumant to experiment local food. It was 11pm and they have 3 courses options. I had only a Ravioli ''pasta e fagioli'', pancetta, ricotta salata et salsa verde as a main plate. It was delicious but took a little longer to get to my table. I had also a delicious dessert: ricotta maison, pistaches, figues & chocolat blanc. Prices are high comparing to similar restaurants.

Delicious food and friendly staff. The atmosphere is a really comfy blend of formal and casual--the perfect vibe for making it feel like a special occasion without being stuffy. The portions sometimes LOOK small, but I always end up completely stuffed and satisfied.

Fantastic and unique recipes. Two chefs from Lebanon and Japan who revisit local specialties in incredible ways. Also the waitress are very nice and take the time to explain the meals to you. Strongly recommended if you're in Plateau Mont Royal for brunch/lunch/dinner
