The food was fantastic, as was the wine, however the service has been somewhat 50/50. Sometimes we've had an amazing waiter who was exceptionally kind, extremely attentive and helpful, other times we've gotten one particular waiter who seems extremely annoyed that an American dares enter his place of work and ask for a table, despite our generous tipping tendencies. So I guess if you can handle an indignant french waiter in the event you get him, it's well worth enduring the somewhat comical attitude, as the food is fantastic.

Slow service. Good food but nothing spectacular... especially for the price. A little too stuffy and formal atmosphere for my taste. Much, much, much preferred Garde Manger just a 5 minute walk away and also in old Montreal.

A textbook example of 5 stars: excellent food, excellent service, great location and ambiance. As it is a bit pricy we go about twice a year, but they always remember us and they do something special. Full disclosure: I only get the tasting menu, but it is always great. Also their catering service is fantastic.

Excellent service. I recommend tasting menu with paired with the wine tasting. You won't be disappointed. You can also let them know ahead of time of your food intolerances and they will be happy to accommodate.
