Food has gone way down since the new owner ship!! We were served a bowl of ice when we ordered a soft drink with ice Lol

We visit this place a couple times a year. It has been a while since we were there and it appears there is a change in ownership.
The food was not great before the change but it was cheap and our favourite was the soup. After the change, the food is absolutely the worst.
The rice is hard, probably cooked for way too long. The amount is also abysmal considering that I don't usually eat significant amount. The soup taste blend. I understand their meat is usually kept on shelve for a long time because there just aren't enough people buying it. however, wth the recent down turn, there are even less customer. The meat is not edible. The service is ridiculous. I am comparing it to all other Chinese restaurant. I do t even think they receive proper training.
I am sad that we lost a place to visit from time to time. I can only see this place closed soon. Without any major change. It is safe to say we will never go back.

My boyfriend ordered the Chef's special with the honey BBQ pork and white rice with some sort of soup on the side. This was hands down the most disgusting thing we have ever received from any restaurant. The soup was WATER- yup, nothing in it. No noodles, meat, or vegetables: just a weird watery broth. The pork was disgusting and the white rice tasted like it was days old. Seriously wish we had returned it but we had such a long day we didn't want to make the trip back. We didn't even eat anything and threw it ALL out. When we poured the soup down the drain, we couldn't believe that it was completely 'broth' and nothing it in. We literally gagged at the smell of the broth. It looks like (from other comments) the owners have changed recently. Honestly you should be ashamed of yourselves serving that. I know every place has bad days, but it wasn't busy, in fact it was completely dead, and from the sound of the other reviews this place is horrid! Save your money...

Best authentic Chinese food in town hands down. Love the BBQ duck noodle soup with fried bread. Brings me back to my youth. They source their meats from certain farms to get the best taste and texture. That is passion and caring for good food. And can't get any better people owning it. The Ly's are so friendly.
