This place is a shoppers delight. Me and aunt Lucy used to come here on Sundays to shop at Zellers. It was special. It hasn't lost anything in all that time.

An old mall for older people, this has been the case for as long as I can remember. I grew up in the neighborhood and frequent the mall to support my old community.

I am here weekly with my son to shop the Safeway, Dollarama and food court. He gets to run and talk to the locals and I get to wander the game and record shops.

Do not boycott Bonnie Doon. Please don't take comments as written; research the area and find out which institutions are nearby. Bonnie Doon isn't only used by old people. Learn for yourself why security can be seen as heavy handed and why they NEED to be heavy handed when they have to be.

Once of the older malls in Edmonton. Since Target and Sears moved out Safeway is the major left other than Shoppers Drug Mart. Lots of good smaller stores so it is worth a look. They have the best Santa there over the holidays. Make sure you take your kids.

They’re slowly becoming modern, there’s only a few stores in here that I go to because bonniedoon is a convenient location for me. They have quite a few family activities and adult only activities that they post on their Facebook. They have changed a lot since I first visited here 8 years ago. The new look is a lot nicer, the food court seating and bathrooms have been renovated, they just need more food
Options. They also need bigger retailers, to draw younger crowds, most of the people I’ve seen loitering here are 50+.

Boycott Bonnie Doon!!! Sort the reviews by lowest score before reading them. Be advised that a large number of the positive reviews here are fake and have been submitted in the past two months. Over 300 reviews have been submitted between July and September alone. They also had several questions posed by Google users questioning this mall's violent approach to security. There is clearly some sort of damage control happening here.

The security guards here are out of control, beating people senseless without any consideration for what terrible optics that is. Shocking disrespect, assaulting customers, shoving witnesses, escalating situations unnecessarily, all the while swearing so much, they could make a trucker blush.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour. I guess the "Paladin Difference" means making sure your client's customers leave in an ambulance.

It seems your guards have a reputation for going hands on. That being the case, let me tell you, you're doing something wrong. You should never have a reputation for going hands on. A good security guard knows how to defuse a situation without resorting to physical violence and they should never ever deliberately escalate a situation as I witnessed.

This disgusting behaviour seems to be encouraged by Bonnie Doon staff, whose morally repugnant and ethically bankrupt form of management is on display for all to see.

I guess Bonnie Doon Shopping Centre has enough time to put up over 300 fake reviews, but not enough time to make sure their security guards don't behave like thugs.

Boycott Bonnie Doon Shopping Centre. Their rent a thugs and their propensity for violence must not be allowed to stand. Not in our community!
