Staff are the most knowledgeable and skilled in the city when it comes to hockey skate fittings. Awesome service and prices are reasonable. Our go to hockey stop. PS they offer a military discount!

Bought a new mountain bike here in May, I was given amazing service by the sales person who was extremely knowledgeable. Since then I have had brought my bike in with small issues or the service department and they have been so great fixing small things for free under the First Year Free adjustments. They also do a great just b of showing you the issue so you know how to fix it the next time.
Would definitely recommend buying a bike here, they also have financing options, so if you don't have all the money in hand to buy a bike you can still get it, and there is no penalty for paying it off early (I paid mine off in 4 months instead of the 3 year term).

United is a big store. Often too big to the point of being distracting and overwhelming. That being said, it offers a solid selection for nearly any sport, and enough purchasing power to really offer some benefit to the consumer. The key is to talk to the staff and build a rapport, letting you reap the benefits of a big store without the big box experience.
The staff are key though. Lots of experienced and knowledgeable people who want to help. Combine this with good stock from great brands and you have a very good store. Customer support and service are also excellent.
I've been a long time customer, but also deal with other vendors due to product lines, and united is consistently the most helpful and productive experience.

The ball department is amazing. I purchased a new batting helmet and the paint peeled when I took the labels off. I emailed and Miles promptly replied saying that it was no problem to replace it. I took it in, he knew who I was when he arrived at customer service. Grabbed me a replacement helmet, gave me some tips for taking off the labels AND found a chin strap for me. Super impressed. Tara & Sunny at customer service did the warranty exchange up quickly & were super friendly. Top notch service all around!
