The 'Bay' has improved immensely in the past few years. They still have a little way to go yet but it's a great department store. Something is always on sale here.

Great staff, great stock and great location. I love going here as it's more quiet than the other Bays and staff has more time to spend with you. The men's department is EXTREMELY well stocked and very knowledgeable here. Great turn around time for alterations. Great fragrance department.

The Bay have really stepped up their game in the last few years. This is not grandma's department store any more. Any professional woman can find a full work and casual wardrobe she will love - all in one store!

Excellent selection of menswear in a range of styles and prices. Staff are generally helpful and friendly.
I've been told the women's section is not as diverse as the men's but your mileage may vary.
Definitely keep an eye out for bay days as the sales can be quite good
Wheelchair access to the 2nd and third floors is available via the elevators in the scotia center
As with most major stores the selection for big guys is lacking. This is the reason for 4 stars and not 5.

The best Bay out of any in Calgary. Before I lived in the City, I actually came to Calgary and did all of my Xmas shopping in this one location (years ago). It has everything and remains outstanding except for one thing. If you go online these days, some items are only available online, and not at the store. That is okey but when you live close, its a bit of a letdown if its an item you want to pick up now. Love the heritage and the atmosphere. It is an essential piece of the downtown experience.
