This tiny side street restaurant has been here...albeit with a slight move of premises...for over 15 years...to my knowledge.
And although the new premises have lost some of the original features, the owner and staff of... 'The Captain's Table' still offer a great meal for your money.
As in every Bulgarian restaurant, the style is local/rustic, using local sourced ingredients and fresh meats and fish. Today I had the Captain's seafood salad, with 2 toasted slices and a 50cl bottle of Staropramen beer.
Total bill was BLV 5.89...currently BLV 2.32 = £1.00!!!...this did not include the tip, which was BLV 2.00.
Highly recommended.
Be aware that smoking IS allowed in here and there are many smokers in Burgas!!!
