Nice food. Gets very busy at night!

Food was awesome as always. Both entrees and their traditional dishes cooked to perfection. Sao Paulo downtown is really lucky to have Dona Onça around. On the other hand service was pretty lousy: complete lack of attention, food took hours to arrive and no waiters available at all. And we got there in the opening hours.
If you are around downtown at night make yourself a favour and avoid Dona Onça - lunch time service is way better. Go to Casa do Porco and Esther where food is on par and service is worlds apart.
PS Service was a little better in the end thanks to lovely "on training" blonde.

Expensive but very good. The strogonoff we had was excellent

Excellent food, place and location. Food was amazing and so were the drinks. It´s clear that the employees are well trained and polite.

Such a great authentic informal environment with excellent service, traditional dishes and very strong caipirinhas. Get the Caipirinha da Onça (with passion fruit). Delicious! Great spot for weekend lunches (great feijoadas) or early dinner. Its safe to walk around the area and there are bars and things to do nearby.
