I've explicitly asked for a smoke-free car because I was travelling with my infant son. The front desk agent assured the car will be smoke-free. However it turned out that the heavy scent of air freshener was used to cover the smell of smoke that as the day went on became more and more obvious. I also found the ashtray containing ash and other garbage.
I had to drop the car after hours so there was nobody to complain at in person. I've sent an email and a follow-up email, but received no response.
The car was OK, besides the rear windshield wiper being broken off, but customer satisfaction isn't top priority.
