This is not a kind of service that one can expect from a multi-billion company. Be sure to check your car with photos and videos and have the blood tests with you to prove that you are valid for the car rental.

The dreadful service from money-hungry company., The experience that we had in the company and the branch in particular was horrible and cannot be described with proper language. The company website doesn't explicitly states that debit card cannot be as valid confirmation during the actual rental of the card despite the fact that they accept payment from this card. I cannot really understand the mechanism and the logic of the company that accept debit card and elcectronic use only card for payment and then deny you renting a car. The person in the branch didn't even bother to help and proved that the company is fradulent and money-oriented.

Highly not recommended!
Sad to say I experienced and awful customer service. After completing the online booking and providing the full payment via Sixt website, I was refused to be given the car for the rather odd reason. They said they do not accept debit card payments, but could not explain the reason behind it, moreover the money was already taken from my account, and to prove that to them it took me more than 2 hours with numerous
calls to my bank and sixt managers. And yes, in the end of the day, I didn't get the car I paid for!

We showed up on New Year's Eve and they were able to take care of us, so that was nice. Didn't quite get the car I wanted, but it's probably due to the date and fact that I was dropping it off far away.
The office can be hard to find if you drive up on the wrong side, so just keep walking around the building until you find it.

I generally don't trust car rental companies, but I think I got lucky on this occasion is Vienna. I had read the website carefully and paid in advance rather than take the option to reserve a car and cancel later. There was confusion upon collection with the staff but fortunately, the computer system (ironically!) was more accommodating. I would recommend Sixt Car Hire but caveat emptor.
