We are a family of 5 (with 3 teenagers between 12 and 16) and spent 5 days & nights with John & Lynn on the Sydney Sundancer in the Whitsundays. We had a wonderful time. Both Lynn & John are adorable, always there for you without being invasive. They are passionate about the Whitsundays and share their passion. They had planned a great itinerary for us given our schedule: we got to snorkel many times on the reef, walk on the reef (an experience that what new for us and really interesting - a different complementary way of exploring it), spend time on the Whiteheaven beach, etc.
Lynn almost always came with us (in the water or on the ground) and is a walking encyclopedia. She knows all the fishes and other animals extremely well. And it's fun to see her enjoying every occasion as it was a first for her as well. She's always looking for that new animal that she hadn't seen before. And we did find one actually! She also takes great pictures underwater which she gave to us.
And as others mention, Lynn is also an amazing cook. From breakfast to dinner, including lunch, every meal was a feast. It's fascinating to see how Lynn prepares a variety of courses with very generous portions, yet very light. We never felt we had eaten too much. We have high expectations regarding quality & taste of food and they were exceeded - particularly impressive given we were on a small boat and Lynn had so many other things to worry about besides cooking. Oh and the wine list is quite extensive too.
One thing: if you're going to sleep at the back (a very nice cabin, particularly if you get to have it all for yourself), bring some earplugs: unless the water is extremely calm, the boat will be rocking a bit through the night, and you hear the various fluids (fuel, water) making all kinds of noises quite loudly as they shift from left, to right, to left, to right...

"SUNDANCER" Sunset Cruise & Fireworks, Sydney Harbour, Australia Day 2015.
A very enjoyable evening was spent aboard "SUNDANCER" on Sydney Harbour,Australia Day,2015.It was superb watching the fireworks above the yacht, and nearby P & O Cruise Ships at anchorage. In spite of showering weather it would have been one of the best, "if not the best"experience on Sydney Harbour. The atmosphere aboard with other guests was a very happy one, and full credit to John & Lynne Boyce and their crew for a very well run and organised trip.We were all made to feel very important people, in good "safe" hands on deck, and maybe, just maybe next time an anticipation of perfect weather, sailing on the glistening waters of Port Jackson into the "Sunset".- Andrew.

We spent Australia Day 2015 out on the harbour with Lynne and John. We had an amazing time, despite the weather. I had my cousin, his wife and daughter here from the UK and they loved it. The atmosphere created is not one of a commercial cruise, but more like a family outing. This is the second cruise I have been on for Australia Day and the memories are fantastic. Thank you both. The yacht is fantastic.

What an amazing day, sailing on Sydney Harbour aboard the luxury "Sydney Sundancer", champagne in hand, delicious catering, partying with friends. Each of my 30 guests had a most memorable time and all expressed their appreciation of the professionalism of the owners and crew who were absolutely delightful and made the occasion so special.
