Bar has below average service. Slow waiters, serving out incorrect orders, generally not understanding the required level of service. Won't be coming back to this place. Ambiance so so. Prices are way too high for what you get. There are many better places within a 5 minute walk.

Excellent service, friendly staff and nice food. I was very happy.

In my opinion the buffet offer is well overpriced. You don't get good value for money. Yes, there is lots of seafood including oysters, crabs, mussels. But that's pretty much it. The quality of the latter is average, the cheapest oysters, crabs and prawns (who knows what country they come from) from fish market. Only natural oysters, no other options, and no even variety of sauces to them - only lemon. For entree there is also smoked salmon, which tastes like the cheapest smoked salmon from Woolies. No sashimi, no other fish options, no lobsters. Salads are very basic (potato salad, coleslaw, beetroot, etc.) No option of a seafood salad. As for the mains, I doubt it's a good seafood buffet offer as there is only one option of fish (we had perch) and one option of cooked mussels. That's it. The rest was pasta (without any seafood in it), rice, chicken, lamb, vegetables. Overall the food was not too bad, but definitely not a 4 star restaurant quality. I was in a seafood buffet restaurant in Las Vegas where we only paid $30 per person (not $85) and had amazing food, including lobsters, sashimi and variety of cooked fish. So this experience in The Corn Exchange restaurant in Sydney was a bit of a disappointment to me. The deserts were pretty good though.

We ate a seafood buffet lunch at The Corn Exchange Restaurant as part of a Groupon deal. It was very busy so be there when it starts and join the queue for the cold crab, mussels, clams and oysters. If you're not a fan of seafood, there are only a few hot dishes there (a curry, poultry, beef dish and pumpkin soup). Kids will love the 'all you can eat' candy in the corner and funnily the best part of the meal for me was the rocky road!

Reminiscent of a shark feeding frenzy. The buffet is massive and generous but predominated by seafood since we had someone with an shellfish allergy in the group, we choose the a la carte menu. The food was good but no where near as appetising as the buffet looked.
