A good park to take your dog, although the area of the park is reduced at the moment because of the construction work for light-rail along Devonshire Street Surry Hills.

Great for enjoying the weather, trees for shade, kid's playground, good for sports and exercise.

Many residents who live near Ward Park come to the Community BBQ on Saturday night at 6pm.
Lots of people, a few children and dogs too.
At other times food vans arrive to help the poor

This park has great community involvement from helping and feeding the homeless to creating great family and dog park.....they have alot of great events at this park.

I like using the provided table tennis table to practice hitting the ball around. They have a cool 4meter+ flying fox which is heaps of fun. And you can always catch some one at the skate park area doing a few tricks on their board for some free entertainment.
