We feel so blessed to have this bog of eternal stench near our home. The council had taken so much care to rehibilitate this natural water feature. Now it's a great place for children to see municipal waste first hand!

This is perhaps the greatest of the local waterholes. Certainly better ambience than the Gladstone. The juxtaposition of apparentments that seem almost ready to topple in and the irridescent green of the water give this waterhole a quality that cannot be found more generally in your typical rural swamp. Many species of bird life can be found pushing their way through the scum, with the Nankeen night-heron amongst the rarer visitors. The beauty of the waterhole demostrates the obvious level care and attention that all levels of government have applied to the rehabilition of urban industrial sites and maintainance of urban wildlife habitat.

I travelled 12, 493 km to check this out, and let me tell you, we don't have swamps as nice as this where I come from! A must see for any traveller arriving in the Dulwich Hill area!
