Good food, good drink, nice pub and staff. Exactly what a pub should be. Could not be more deserving of a five star rating. Great vego options but could do with more vegan!

Good
Food is good, beers are good, environment is nice. Basically if it’s in control of the staff it’s good. Great staff and fast friendly service.
Bad
The play room is feral! Not the room itself which is basic but clean but the locals who bring their kids there (sometimes straight from school, still in uniform) and let their kids run wild. It’s often over crowded with older kids and totally unsupervised.
If you have tiny people I’d say stay away.
We have gone there on and off for years and it’s getting wilder and wilder.
I will say it’s 100% not the staffs fault it’s the other parents who will allow their kids to bowl over other little ones then accuse responsible parents of being a helicopter parent for watching out for their kid.

Best pub in the inner west. Always a friendly crowd and the food is great. Best beer selection and a heavy rotation so you can always try something new!

Really amazing clever food. Generous portions too. Totally recommend the salmon poke and octopus. Baby loved the ball pit. Plenty of high chairs for mothers group.
