Used to be the best satays in town. Its really declined - the place is filthy. Toilets are a disgrace and the kitchen is in plain view and dirty.
A real shame.....

Very Disappointed. I travelled a long way to treat my family with my mum along with my Mother in Law to dinner. Been here since I was a kid on the odd occasion and loved it.
This time Saturday Night 8th August I was shocked. First impressions were bad. We walked in and sat down to old scrappy menu’s. It was cold, they had no heater working just the air conditioner. ( it was windy and raining outside )
We orders an entrée of beef , lamb and chicken Satay sticks , along with drinks. Must of waited around 20 minutes to see arguing in the kitchen. The waiter comes down to us and firstly tells us they have no Satay sauce for the satay stick. We drove along way for this dinner so we had no choice to have the sticks on their own without any sauce. Then the waiter comes back and explains that they have no coconut milk. Our soft drinks come out and both flat.
It wasn’t just us disappointed. The two other tables occupied also complained. The first table’s beef was chewy and refused to pay and they left.
The other table that walked in after us walked back out in disgust after they also got told no satay sauce.
Really they should not of opened there doors that night. They have turned away our table of 6 from coming back and I bet the other two tables won’t be back.
Apparently the parents who run joint are on holidays. A $178 waste of money this time and I wouldn’t go there. Its run down and need a big kick up the backside. Come on really what were they thinking.

Took the family recently to have dinner after 10 years. What a mistake, main meal prices are expensive, tasteless and overall very disappointing. We ordered the coriander chicken for $21.50, out came a wing and 3 drumsticks!!! The lamb and chicken curry dishes were also $21.50 and the gravy tasted as if it was out of a can. The coconut rice tasted as if it was reheated, gritty and very dry. We dined because years ago the food was nice however when we arrived there was only another couple, this indicator should have told us something. Sorry Mahsuri, never again. I would rather head East along Albany Hwy and venture out to the many restaurants on offer.

My family has been going to this restaurant for more than 25 years and it is now not worth wasting your money at. My partner saw a rat (and I heard several squeaking) and there was a green elastic band in the noodles...food used to be sensational, particularly the authentic satays, chilli chicken and rendang. Not any more - won;t go again
