WOW was this an education!!
My partner doesn’t eat fish (unfortunately for us there are no non-fish options on the Fisch menu), so he went and bought a kebab nearby and came back to eat with me while I ate my fish and chips in the store. When I collected my fish and chips at the counter the owner proceeded to abuse and insult me because my partner was sitting with me eating his kebab. When my partner came up and explained that a polite request for us to leave might have been appropriate the owner then proceeded to abuse and insult him. This is not how to win customers. This was a great shock to us as we were completely unaware that we were upsetting him. We are not the sort of (older) people to cause a fuss and we’re left shaken by the whole experience. Reading some of the other reviews here it seems we are not the only people to have experienced rudeness. We won’t be back. In terms of the food, the chips are great but I did find the Nanagai very ordinary and at $25 it is overpriced.
