I've to say this is one of the best steak I've ever tried in town. The home made lemon tart dessert is amazingly yummy as well. It's a premium restaurant, worth every cent. Will definitely come back.

We had dinner yesterday at this restaurant. To be honest, the service is not professional. The steak quality is average that you can find from other places with cheaper price. Overall, the quality and service are not at the high standard compared to the price you pay. Not recommended.

Crowded in, not enough space between tables, kept being bumped by waiters and diners walking past. Trusted waiter to select wine in an approx $150 per bottle price range, ended up seeing 2 bottles of $375 Shiraz on bill. Screwed big time. Still the steaks were good, not great, but nice. Service was slow, hard to find a waiter. There are better steak houses around.

My first time visit to Charcoal Grill on the Hill was 7 years ago when I was still a student. I have since paid them three visits in one year, and every single visit has been amazing. Steaks are always succulent and cook to perfection. I love the Rump Steak the most, however my friends and I ordered the porterhouse and the eye fillet and they have also been fantastic. Also worth recommending are their skinless sausage.
The staff have been easy going and have made good recommendations on wine and food so I can't be more happy.
With these excellent experiences, I'm always surprised to see such good price on the menu.
