Disgusting Security, allowed me in at the front of the line cause I looked hot but interrogated my beautiful Afrian girlfriends. As soon as I came down to say that they belong with me, they kicked me out for acting like a promoter, my friend who was the promoter and invited us came out to ask the security guys what happened, they said they kicked me out cause I was blocking the way...Load of racist bullshitters..

Simple the best club in Melbourne, hands down. The Gossip Sunday session is almost religion... AWESOME. Some people might say in their reviews the entry price is expensive , old story, get what you pay for , you can pay $10-15 to get into a dive club. Prefer to pay $25 to get into the best club. Personally I always book a booth. The price is very reasonable when you consider all that comes with it. It really is an amazing experience. The music?... Nothing else in Melbourne comes close to how good the mixes are ( But must say the music over recent weeks has started to drop off...late sets are not as dirty base as they use to be...I'm hoping this is because STOJ was away...hate to see that as the norm)...and the system, you feel the base, not just hear it. The staff are great, treat them with respect and you get the same in return. A lot of people these days forget basic manners, thank you, please. Try using them and you will soon see the staff will only make your night better.
The head doorman is an absolute professional... Dressed immaculate, very friendly and welcoming .... You would expect to find this kind of service in a 5 star hotel...highly commend him on his professional service. Go once...and you will never go anywhere else. The crowd is awesome, full of people that just want to have a great time...drama free. Never seen any aggressiveness in this club...people just want to party. A lot of regular people each week, feels like family. Forget the price tag...your buying an experience.... And that experience is first class and can't be beat !!!

Very bad experience. Security asked me to leave without giving any explanation. I was dancing and minding my own business. Very rude and pretentious. I had to stand outside in the cold with no jacket waiting for my friend.

The Security stuff here are very outta line, one week I came here and I was not allowed in because I was " too causally dressed " because I had a suit then the next week I came here same thing happened expect this time they said I was " under dressed " and I got judged on what type of t shirt i was wearing because it was " too colorful " and then following the next week after that I was finally allowed in and realized that the bartender that severed me twice took my loose change both times that I got severed, and I never said at any point keep the change. Terrible experience and won't be coming back.
