We were just asked to leave whilst sober. A completely uniformed decision based upon a thin slice of data. This was a commercial decision on their part designed to free a up premium table. After 40 years in the police service attending to their calls for assistance I was devastated. Bad call we have no recourse for making this right.

A nice beer tap selection situated in the ultimate location. Have always had great bar staff on my visits. However I find the security goons on the door quite heavy-handed. Doubtless such measures are necessary on the weekend given the location and the times we live in; however I cannot help but comment that such ham-fisted measures are off-putting to regular patrons.

The security needs to learn manners. I know they use their job as a way of getting a kick out of showing power but shouldn't they do everything possible to prevent/diffuse a situation. In the interest and safety of all patrons.

Sunday afternoon. No tables free. Standing at the edge near the windows. They add an extra table. So we move to the table. 10 min later they come over and kick us off the table. I ask why? Security says rudely, 'because I said so'.

Turns out they had live music starting and needed to use the table for ticketing as it was near the entrance.

Here's an alternative, 'sorry guys, we've got live music starting soon and we need to use this table for ticketing.'

Thus I wouldn't be annoyed. I would understand the reason and maybe even stick around to see the music and buy several more drinks. But instead I left because he was rude.

Please contract better security. Thanks.

This is my first ever complaint. Group of 8 professionals enjoying an afternoon of drinks and nibblies and we received some poor calamari on one of our tasting plates. Upon collection of the plates we kindly informed the waiter the product was cold, didn’t taste nice/poor quality. We left over half of the calamari. We kindly asked if we could be compensated for the poor calamari, replacement/ other etc. the waiter accused us for eating the product and it was too late to compensate and said “everyone” complains and wants free food. If this is the case and “everyone” complains then this is a big problem. This place doesn’t appreciate your business because “everyone” ie all of you are complainers and want free food.
We managed to get 1 plate of chips to share after I drove my point to this imbecile and we won’t be coming back here.

First entry has a classic Aussie pub vibe. It’s usually packed on a weekend afternoon if your looking to escape the crowds head up stairs to level two where the painting of Chloe is. They also have a Chloe Pale Ale brewed locally. The hops is strong but the flavour is an experience in its self.
