We went in a large group of 24 guys. We booked and advised we did not want to their banquet menu. They said this would not be a problem, but when we got there the owner just continued to push the banquet menu and finally after 30 odd minutes, we were begrudgingly given a la carte menus.

Scallops were delicious.
Owner has been running the business and serving Italian meals there for nearly 40 years!

On out lovely Tasmanian adventure we stopped in Launceston for two nights. The first night we asked the hotel staff if they had any recommendations and they said no where but Calabrisella. Getting there it didn't look like a place we would have normally stopped at and we were a bit wary of the hyperbole but ventured on none the less. Once inside the staff were efficient and it seemed quite busy(especially for a Wednesday night). Despite changing the composition of the dishes (clams ergh) the staff were friendly and happy to oblige. The food was DELICIOUS! So good in fact, when we were back on the Saturday we came again and got the exact same meals. Did not disappointment the second time (despite a different chef). Happy to recommend!

All good here! Really attentive polite service. Food was an excellent no frills affair. Prices fair with good drink selection.
