We have been staying at Palm Cove for a week and have eaten at Lime and Pepper a few times. My favourite is the seafood chowder... reasonably priced, big chunks of seafood and really flavoursome. I heard the guy at the next table raving about the barramundi spring rolls so I can't wait to try them.

The coffee was regularly delicious ! The staff are soooo delightful and friendly and keen to make your visit a really happy one! Bacon at breakfast was disappointing but the hash browns were amazing ! Dessert was a little expensive but clever!

The buffet breakfast is ok. It has a nice ocean view.

Although the staff tried to look after us and were lovely, we believe they were too few for the Valentine's day dinner crowd.
It took 40 minutes to get our order in, another 20 to start eating.
We were apologised for being forgotten on so many occasions. The staff recognizing our bad experience during the night is the only thing that stopped us from leaving the premises. It shouldn't take one hour from arrival to have something to eat.
Drinks arrived late, once not at all.
We made people aware the need for gluten free options both at booking and at arrival so as to not cause issues during the evening. The options were clearly labeled on the menus which made life much easier, except for the dessert sharing plate. We had to call back someone to ask which were gluten free after we noticed two options which could've ended the night beyond poorly. The answer to which options on the plate were gluten free had to be chased down.
Although the food was fine, the cost simply didn't match our expectations. We will not be coming back anytime soon.
