Chanced upon this place wandering around Hobart and went inside. The bar staff were happy to talk about what the place was and how it came to be, and knew a lot about the history of the distillery. I tried two lovely gins and had a look at some of the displays they have around the bar. Lovely place!

I love this place! I was able to taste three local and delicious whiskeys and then ask for another three to taste of a similar nature to compare. The staff here were so very very informative and helpful. They took time to explain the subtleties of the whiskey which made my tasting more of an experience than I expected. The room is cosy, warm and had a terrific ambience.
