Dropped in for afternoon tea, restaurant disappointingly closed for renovations. Beautiful old building and beautifully furnished bar and reception. Staff v. helpful friendly and informative. Good pot of tea, comfy furniture. Great to rest and recuperate after a day's hard shopping and sightseeing at Salamanca markets and Battery Point. Not fond of the large video/TV screen in the bar where we were served tea. WiFi facilities available.
