Ordered the beef hot pot, chicken fried rice and the pork dumplings from the Paddington store via uber eats. The fried rice was standard, the dumplings had very thick skin and the hot pot was inedible there was so much starchy thickener in there. Won't be ordering again especially when 3 almost inedible dishes cost $60.

I have been ordering food from Sichuan Bang Bang regularly as there is no other option for Chinese food in Kenmore area. Although their dishes are far from authentic Sichuan dish, it used to calm my cravings for spicy & oily food.
I wouldn't order any more from Sichuan Bang Bang though after tonight.
Tonight, I found the same dishes I have ordered many times before were half the portion from before. I understand restaurants experience increasing cost and having to adjust price and/or portion size from time to time, but this sudden cut to half - I found quite disrespectful especially for a regular customer. Very very disappointing experience.

The Green beans with mince was flavourful and had just the right crunch. The Morton bay bug with Sichuan sauce was good too!
