Highly recommended to those who love Japanese food as much as I. Me my better half dropped in for dinner and ordered the sukiyaki set meal which came with fried gyoza, a small nigiri plate and many other tasty plates. Only here for a short stay in Brisbane but will deffinately stop by before I leave.

Good food for it's price. Service was excellent. Both host and waiter were very polite and accommodating. Try the all you can sukiyaki or shabu shabu, great value and experience!

Bishamon has the best take-away sushi I've ever had. They make their own wasabi which is such a great touch, as most take-away places only have horseradish disguised as wasabi. The sushi is always fresh, and the ingredients of high quality. They only make a small amount each day, and it's not uncommon to have people waiting patiently outside until 11:30am to get their lunch. Friendly service and an all-round great experience every time.

Fantastic food, mixed feelings about staff.
We opted for Sukiyaki which was great and the meat was excellent (and the mushrooms too). The food we saw arriving on the tables around us also looked amazing so we'll go back for more without hesitation. The staff however were a mixed bag. One girl was amazingly surly, really just looked like she hated being there. The main girl serving us was fine although when we asked her to show us how to cook the meats she gave us a pretty unimpressed look which was a shame. There was a third girl who came to our table just once and was incredibly courteous and happy and this was really appreciated as in my opinion it's the service that can separate a good experience from an average one. Thankfully the food was the star of the show here and saved the experience from being mediocre. I hope when we go back the staff are having a better day, or the one girl who enjoyed customer service has rubbed off on the others!
