A friend recommended Grimaldi Restaurant as new management has taken over and revived the menu and wine lists. My husband and I decided to treat ourselves for Valentine's Day and booked a table in advance with ease. On arrival, parking was a breeze with a car park situated behind that caters for the restaurant and Trak Cinema. The restaurant front itself looks small from the street but I can assure you it's like a tardis! Inside is light, bright and spacious! Not at any point did we feel that diners nearby could overhear our conversations, nor could we hear theirs. The manager and team were all very friendly, welcoming and attentive. There was a separate special Valentine's menu for the occasion or we could order from the main menu. We were given helpful suggestions to both the meal and wines. We ended up having the antipasto as a shared starter, he had pork belly and I had the risotto for mains. Desserts we had gelati and the famous tiramisu! All meals were plentiful and delicious! Service was faultless. Overall it was a wonderful evening that was great value. Will definitely return and highly recommend!
