Main square. You can find near a Church, the first goverment building (Cabildo), banks, bus stops, the pedestrian area and the commercial area. Also cero kilometer (kilometro cero) is located here. There is a bus that takes people to the international airport. The square is well illuminated and cleaned.

Plaza San Martin is very beautiful. The surrounding architecture is pretty to look at, and there are also art fairs nearby where you can purchase handmade items on weekends.

Everyone knows the entire square for it's story, mainly churches built by natives.. But few (even locals) know that what now is part of the Cabildo and Catedral used to be a torture camp from the last dictatorship. See the tiny (and yes, cute romantic even) street of stones between both buildings? There's a tiny door on Cabildo sometimes occupied by the police nowadays, and a big door from the Cathedral side? Those were entries. It's 2017 and still little is known of what really happened there and how the church got involved. But people disappeared there, forever.. A sad story. Our story. Not everything it's art and oh! The magnificent cathedral the lively square. People who know this tiny little fraction of story and part of Menendez and Videla dictatorship usually refuse to walk that street. Even entering to the Cabildo. I'm on of those. Is a shame. I will never be able to see inside of it, the many more history that building has! 200 years and more! Just because those killers. By the way Solía estar más linda, limpia... Ahora no. Gracias intendente. Anyways.
