Worst experience ever. I rented a car with budget (same place as avis) and when I returned they charged many wrong fees and the lady only wanted to close the shop instead of help me.
"I need to close the shop, contact customer service"...

First of all, the Siena agency is located far from the railway station and not easy to find, even with google maps ! At last I had to take a cab to find them !
I had booked a car on rentalcars website, with an insurance.

So, when I arrived at the Avis rental agency, the lady insisted on paying more in order to get the full insurance (in case of ANY accident, I would have been protected... and no charge to pay… !). I said ok, but it seemed that she couldn't confirm that (she tried 3 times ; I think their computer system is old, in any case it didn't work, even if she told me it was ok…).

3 days later, I bring back the car at the Pise agency. The realtor, a man not very nice, found there was a (tiny) impact close to the lock door. It was true but was it there before… ? So, he told me I would have to pay charges for this. Then I told him I took out full insurance and was protected in case of accident, as the lady told me 3 days before...

1 week later, I see on the statement of my bank account they charged me the amount of 213 € !

Thank you Avis (and Budget/Maggiore, the same company, one can see the 3 logos together at the agency desk), I won't come again.

Got a sweet little tin box of a car. Cheap and it got us everywhere safe.
